X Frame Holster Compatibility

Are the outside dimensions of the S&W .460 and .500 the same and fit into the same holster?

Well, no answer to this question anywhere. So I made a command decision and ordered the Galco Kodiak Hunter listed for the S&W .500 to use for my S&W .460 XVR. I'll let you know if it fits.

Sorry about that, I've been out of town. Yes the holsters, are samey-samey. A 4" 500 and a 4" 460 will use the same holster, same with say 8 inchers, or 10" and so on, etc.

Ps.. The plans, here at LeMAG are to eventually build a series of AR15's all shooting the 460 S&W. Just soze ya nose..
