Feb 24, 2014, Ruger MkIII now not legal to sell in California.

The MkIII came up for "retesting" to stay on the official California Handgun roster to be legally sold. Well, this year, the retest now involves mandatory "microstamping" which is supposed to have a "fingerprint" from the firing pins onto the brass or primers. Well, originally the retest was to ensure that the handguns were "safe" but this continues to push the envelope of what ocean water can do to your brain.
You know whats next on the agenda?

In October year, while the 2A supporters were fighting off waves of Rifle registration bills, one bill snuck through,
Complete ban on all Lead Hunting Projectiles.
Yes, apparently, one researcher found a Condor or some other scavenger with lead pellets in its belly, presumably from a carcass that had been previously shot and either left or not tracked.
Anyhow, the immediate conclusion is that all lead projectiles must be dangerous and banned.
so, as of 2019 ALL LEADED projectiles will be Illegal to hunt with.

This is not so surprising, to us Commie-fornians, as we know the Dept of Fish and Game, are AGAINST hunting and fishing. Seriously.

Back in 2012, legislators forced the resigntation of the Head of the Dept of fish and game, because he LEGALLY HUNTED. Go figure

The condors have had years and years of miraculous recovery...suddenly...dieing of lead poisoning. I fully believe that 'researchers' are purposely poisoning the condors with lead. Separately, yet together, they would have to feed lead projectiles to the condors as they feed them soft lead...because...lead projectiles are made of an alloy that does not dissolve in the digestive tract of birds.

Due to recent events in the Ukraine, and a potential embargo on trade with Russia, there was a ammo run on all things Russian.
Prices went up to as much as 3x over normal on some sites, and stores dried up quickly.
Suffice it to say, there was more than enough ammo to supply the fear mongers in California.
The run on the ammo and hysteria of last week seem to be dying down now.
And we all know what sellers are quick to gouge...

American flag shirts worn by students were banned at Live Oak High School
These shirts were worn on CInco de Mayo last year, and Mexican students/ gang members threatened violence to the students supporting free speech.
The school banned the shirts or told the students to go home. No, they didn't exact any punishment on the kids threatening the violence, in what appears to be a classic case of XENOphilia.

Well, this isnt a state issue any longer. The ATF despite a court mandated restraining order raided a store, to seize 80% paperweights, which are NOT firearms (and there is an ATF letter stating as such for these receivers. )
They also seized the customer database containing thousands of law abiding citizens information who purchased the paperweights.
These are not firearms, they need to be machined out and completed to be manufactured into working lower receivers which is still lawful. The is a rifle registration here in California for all legally purchased rifles as of Jan1,2014.

SOrry this ISNT a California issue when the Feds are involved, its just easier to do in California for now...

I hate to say it, but not enough of us got out the vote in this last Presidential Election. If all of the Gun Owners take at least three shooters to the polls and give us a Closure Proof Congress and Senate, then we'll have the means to halt this incessant path to the dark side. Or, we can just worry about deer hunting and let the cards fall further. Leland Yee, the author of several anti gun bills that gave us Freedom loving Funyuns a huge scare, arrested this morning on bribery and corruption charges.
He was the co author of the bill requiring registration of all semi auto rifles, that was not passed in 2013. Without going into much more detail, he has a record of shoplifting and soliciting prostitutes while in office. This has all of us 3 percenters rejoicing here on the left coast.
