Santa Claus was coming early this year - Germans can now buy original Bushmaster .450's.

And much better: I got my .450 straight-pull repeating AR15 ;)

What's the story with Germany??

You just couldn't buy it. Only in 2014 the Helmut Hofmann GmbH was able to import Bushmasters. The application is from January 2009, answer from german BKA (Federal Criminal Police Office) is from July 2014. They put a stamp on it and say "this is not a weapon of war, this is not a full-auto rifle, this semi-auto rifle is (or is not) allowed for sporting use".

Decision of german BKA:

Hemut Hofmann Flyer (including 19% tax, recommended end user prices):

Didn't realize I was shooting a "halbautomatische Selbstladebuechse."
