Unfortunately, they are not on the California 'approved' list.

A mere glimpse at sales figures would show there are far more .450 Bushmasters out there.

wc Have you run into Peter Pi at the shot show? If so, ask him what his minimum run and pricing. If you are too busy I can call him and report results. I don't know what grain weight has the most interest. :D :P

Yes, Please call him. I'm packing up to go west today.

It might be expensive for him to tool up so, the first run would reflect this increased cost.

I do know Peter, and he's been on the edge of doing a 450b run, maybe you can put him over the top. Tell him your requirements and why??

Bill, did you ever get this issue resolved?

Sorry for coming so late to the game, being that California seasons are all over now. I just don't read the Off Topic section very often.

I live in California - about the middle of the state - and reload for the 450. I'd be happy to help you out if I can. Let me know.

Thank you for your offer, and your kindness.

I did the only thing I could, considering the time restrictions and my complete lack of reloading skills and equipment. I bought a new rifle (Ruger Gunsite Scout in .308) and the proper legal ammo.

However, it's not a bad idea for us .450b guys to get together sometime in the future?
