I've never paid much attention to Monarch ammo...seemed like just another ruskie import...but, apparently they've been upping their game lately. I saw several really interesting loads, especially handgun, in a store today, such as one I'm going to try: .357 Mag, 158gr SJHP, at 1607 fps! Should be interesting out of a 3" revolver...

I’ve tried Monarch 357, and it’s gtg. My daughter killed a 6 point whitetail with Monarch 100 gr 243 sp last year. One shot dropped him in his tracks. The 243 is made by PPU, so it’s gtg also.
