A little political fun!

And now for something completely different....

The haircut

One day a florist went to a barber for a haircut. After the cut, he asked about
his bill, and the barber replied, "I cannot accept money from you. I'm doing
community service this week." The florist was pleased and left the shop. When
the barber went to open his shop the next morning, there was a 'thank you' card
and a dozen roses waiting for him at his door.

Later, a cop comes in for a haircut, and when he tries to pay his bill,
the barber again replied, "I cannot accept money from you. I'm doing community
service this week." The cop was happy and left the shop. The next morning when
the barber went to open up, there was a 'thank you' card and a dozen donuts
waiting for him at his door.

Then a Congressman came in for a haircut, and when he went to pay his
bill, the barber again replied, "I cannot accept money from you. I'm doing
community service this week." The Congressman was very happy and left the shop.

The next morning, when the barber went to open up, there were a dozen
Congressmen lined up waiting for a free haircut.

And that, my friends, illustrates the fundamental difference between the
citizens of our country and the politicians who try to run it.

POLITICIANS AND DIAPERS NEED TO BE CHANGED OFTEN, AND FOR THE SAME REASON!

Actually there is a lot of truth in that. But you could
also look at it like this.
Maybe I showed up on yawls' back porch for a reason.
I mean seriously. Old dogs only hang out where they
are fed the best and stay where they are treated the best.
I spent the last two nights from 11PM-6AM reading old
posts on this forum. I have never seen a forum like this.
And I hope it NEVER changes. I read here for HOURS this weekend.
I don't pick up a newspaper or watch TV much. I used to
have a satellite dish service but dropped it because it got
to where I could only tolerate watching the science channel
and Glen Beck on FOX NEWS.
The main thing I notice about you guys is your civility.
Here there is a genuine search for knowledge of our
beloved 450 Bushmaster. This is not a hobby.
It is firearms science history in the making.
Professionalism is always in play.
Patience is abundant. I know this because I read a lot
this week and realized some of my posts/questions have
already been asked and answered many times previous to
my arrival and yet I was treated like a human and not some
stupid mooncalf asking dumb questions. And I saw this same
patience play out OVER and OVER and OVER again.
Thanks guys. Don't stop! It's gonna continue like this
with newbys just like me coming in and asking the same
questions over and over. Keep a good sense of humor
and let's all remember not to take ourselves too seriously.
Thanks guys for a great electronic campfire.

It's like a family of friends, all working together, helping one another, learning from each other, and having fun doing it, all with a common goal in mind, enjoying the .450 Bushmaster! :D
