Cabelas Grand Opening...! WoooHooo!!

I now am a VERY HAPPY MUTT!! Cabelas just opened in Allen, Texas!
We went by during their grand opening yesterday and it was so crowded
They had to have cops doing traffic control. Parking was a drag but we finally
found a spot. Inside was classic Cabelas. Really nice. Lots of staff.
They had the Hornady factory loads on the shelf for 30.00 a box.
I did not see any Remington fodder for the 450 Bushmaster. And we looked
And asked and made guys go digging in the back.
The had a few Hornady Handloader reps on hand and they were
pretty helpful. Over all, nice store but they need a bigger reloading
Selection and they need more 450 B stuff. They didn't even have a
spot on the shelf for the 450B dies. The want to special order them
And they want 64.99 for the set.
Over all, it's nice to have a Cabelas 40 minutes from the farm!

Cabelas stopped just short of the Kalifornia border. I have to drive to Boomtown, which is near Reno NV.

We have two in the DFW area now. One in Ft. Worth on I35 and now
the Cabelas in Allen, TX between Plano and McKinney on the Central
Expressway US Hwy 75 at the Stacey road exit. It's basically 10 minutes
from my work. I am predicting long lunches for somebody....
I will definitely be needing a chaperone when I go.
