You got it Rob, that is exactly the need I perceived (all-though I was thinking more like moose/griz, at that time, but big pigs are just as good), when I came up with the Big Bore AR concept. We wouldn't need all those multiple hits on target, that those guys needed..

The 450B would certainly put down those hogs a lot faster but it looked like those guys were just slinging lead and hoping to hit something. Some big piggies though!

I think those guys were from Illinois, down here in Texas on this hunt. I would agree that there was too much careless shooting. These guys were too close together and not driving in an organized manner. Shots were coming from everywhere. Laying down a hale of 7.62X39 out of SKSs and AKs is not a preferred method in my camp. I did see one AR and one Ruger Mini. I'm wondering if the AR was 5.56 or what, and if the Ruger was a Mini 14 or a Mini 30. These guys are lucky they didn't shoot each other or get plowed under by an injured hog.
