Here's hopping Santa come through for ya.

It could be raining soup and I would get hit in the mouth with a bail of hay.

With the TX drought and the lack of hay... hay may be worth gold! :D

I actually have a round bail due in the morning for my goats. I got lucky. Some guys are getting $140.00 a bail.
As for the fencing, I have all the supplies, I just don't have time right now. But I do need a few farm gates and some bags of concrete. I may drive some T posts tomorrow.

So, now I'm trying to figure out how to make hay-soup...

I might need to add bacon...

Well, I hope everyone had a nice Christmas! While we may be experiencing some pretty lean times, I am eternally grateful for what I have. My family and friends and my farm, and yes, my job. I managed to pay for this Christmas without using a credit card at all, and for that, I am very grateful. The kids didn't even ask for $$ for fireworks for the new year celebration and showed no interest in spending their own $$ for fireworks. Although I do feel sorry for all the fireworks stand owners who probably suffered very poor sales this year. Just another American tradition in danger of becoming extinct....
