How about this for some shooting. The Gunmeister, had allot of trouble with his range gear and these represent him getting in and out of the gun, otherwise these would have been two separate groups hovering at one MOA as it is they together represent less than 4.5 MOA. Not bad for an Elephant-Gun with 20+ Back-Up rounds!!

His barrel is a 40t and we need to tighten that up with a different twist, to be able to use all of the bullets better, say 32t at @ $88??

:) All in all,Dad and I had a great time!! Nice sun shiny day in Alabama about 70s. The 230s & 350 will group!!! with the 1 in 40 twist!!!!...with the right sight picture :(
I think! I would have done better with iron sights & sand bags! old school here. scopes & lead sled are new to Dad and I. need to adjust 450LM brass a little.
The 500erds!...Don't know where they when!.. Range has a limit of must hit birm. :o
But!!!!!!!!
47 of A1680 = 1797 FPS
49 of A1680 = 1878 FPS
51 of A1680 = 1932 FPS, Nice load to work up from! ;)...53 max case.
Can we say? 500grn @ 2000fps
Or am I asking too much for a semi auto loading Buffalo gun with a 20 round mag? :)

Did some 185 grn. fmjs. they did not group well. could not get them on paper. full case of LilGun did just over 2800fps.230fmjs did 2860fps.and grouped well.
Maybe a faster powder would help!? Or, maybe the bullets are not up to 3 times their design.
Any help welcome here?

185s were round nose and semi wad cutters fmj.
It's lookin like I'm limited to 230 through 350 grn for now.

Limited!? Ha! I wouldn't call that limited. I'm guessing maybe a different powder may help somewhat? Keep up the good work.

I did find some Alliant 2400 powder, Which is a little faster then LiL Gun. Maybe I'll try the 185grn bullets again next week. Other than that, It looks like I'll need a tighter twist to shoot the 500grn bullets.
Thanks for the interest! ;)
