I think I was the first to actually swap out the stock izzy for another comp last year. I also used the JP tactical style. It does greatly reduce what muzzle jump there was, but as was expected the bark for anyone next to you increased substantially, LOL.
I remember when you posted that Racer. We need one of those for our testing too. I can't remember if we have a commitment for one yet but if we don't, guess we'll have to send over a Brake-Robber and get yours..lol
Unfortunately I do live in the great socialist state of NY and I had to blind pin and weld the brake on so I didnt have one of those evil illegal weapons..............
I was able to go by the range today. The benches are bolted to the concrete slab and are reasonably sturdy, but they still can be wiggled and made move if you push them with your hands.
Well, we had quite a day of testing of not only scientific testing of muzzle brakes, but also a subjective testing of recoil reducers. I wasn't about to leave without throwing in a little fun with water jugs and such. I'll wait for the official data from Gunnut, but my perception was the better the brake, the louder. It was great to meet some of the members of this board, and hope to do it again!
Here's a quick pic of a water bottle after being hit by one of Gunnut's ball loads... Absolutely devastating. I have some video, but it will take a while.
