My first hunting blind

Postby Zkovach » Wed May 20, 2015 6:20 pm

Hey guys I just moved to ten acres and had to build my first blind. It's a bit rediculous but what the hell! It's 12x12x10 top of floor. I got the stairs, roof, 1 door and 5 windows framed at the moment. Next we have to sheath it. I've spent more than I wanted but I wanted something for me and the kids when they grow up. Here's a pic.

My boss said I am a heater away from getting lippy with my wife! As far as little heaters go any suggestions? Kero or propane?

Hunted in an elevated blind last winter, low 20's all day. Not as big as yours but could fit 3 people easily.
Had one of these in there:

After a while I had my coat and gloves off, just had the bibs on. Felt comfortable
