Thanks Mark. Also do not discount your customer service. It is nice to find timely and honest advice from a company. I was even advised AGAINST your uppers because I was hoping for one to better simulate my .450 in weight. Unfortunately, I may NOT take your advise

:D

Yes, they are light. In the 4-5 pound range depending on lower and sights.

OTOH, If you want more weight, I can always put on a heavier aluminum handguard that would accept rails, sling studs and weight almost a pound more. Price would drop about $140 as well since the CF HGs are expensive compared to an aluminum free float HG.

Your upper shipped yesterday. Ran about 100 rounds through it. Had a few bobbles in the first 50, then ran 50 straight no worries at all. That was with mixed Rem Golden Bullet and Federal Bulk. Then I shot 5 5 round groups off the bench. 50 yard groups were all under an inch, touched 0.3" for a few loads. :D

Thank you so much. I can't wait to get it. I guess I'll have to come up with a new excuse for missing squirrels this year! I've been at this a while, so I don't think I'll have much trouble finding one!

Just got it and it's awesome! I haven't got to play with it yet, but I will. I love the forearm. What kind is it and how much are they? I like it better than what's on my .450

The forearm is from Nordic Components. They also have a variety of rails and sling attachments you can add to them. They are right around $90.
