Ruger #1 in 450 Bushmaster

Davisons sent this notice out to retailers today (3 April 17).

It's a retailer exclusive, with an order form on Ruger's web site for dealers.

I checked under the couch and chair cushions, and couldn't find enough change to get one of these. With three non-AR 405B rifles in the safe, justifying this one to the chancellor of the exchequer is nigh onto impossible.

Somebody on the forum should get one and write a review.

Al,
What do you think the 1 in 10 twist will do to accuracy of the 450BM in the Ruger #1? I wonder what possessed them to go with that twist rate.

Maybe someone who has purchased one and shot it will be able to shed some light on the subject.

I looked at one of the No.1's today at the LGS. Darn nice looking rifle but hate to fork out that kind of money and then not have it shoot worth a damn.
Just don't know about the 1/10 twist rate.

Are we sure it is actually 1:10 rate?

I think we need to call Ruger to get this sorted out.

It is indeed 1:10 twist. Some engineer had his head up his butt and no one questioned him!
