I have been following all the information on the 450BM and was inspired to take action. The end result is a re-barreled Kimber. I had an unused 7mm-08 that allowed the factory 450 ammo to work through the magazine with ease. After a long wait, we received our 20 in. McGowan(sp) barrel with the 1-24 twist. The gun smith assembled and chambered it and had it Cerecoated (sp). My first trip to the range with factory Hornaday ammo left me impressed. It printed 1moa. It was all the board members information that lead to the barrel choice and it proved to be spot on. The fact the company was here in Montana was a plus for buying local..The next project will be reloading. Once again thank you all for the wealth of information, I could not be happier .
