That's actually a good deal on several merits. My experience with the XPB's is that they, being solid copper, do not suffer much distortion when squeezed down into the case and taper crimped, unlike cup and core bullets. I never reuse cup and core bullets. You can usually see the changes they suffer with the unaided eye, or for sure see it with micrometer. Last thing you want is a bullet that's narrower at the rear since that's the last part of it to see the muzzle.

If your hunting needs require 275gr bullets and you don't like finding lead in your food, this is a good deal.

I've shot a few of those 300gr Swifts, just as good as new ones.

I got some of these and they are DIRTY. The hollow point is full of some sort of powder or media that I have to remove with a drill bit carefully by hand chucked in a spare drill chuck. They measure 0.4510 so they should work fine after being thoroughly cleaned. Good price, some extra work.

Sounds like pulldowns recovered from a flooded bussiness. (Texas?) An Ultrasonic cleaner with a mixture of white vinegar, water and Dawn detergent, works wonders. That or wet tumble them with the standard mixture, minus the pins in a small rock tumbler like HF sells. The liquid in the tumbler keeps them from colliding with each other too hard. Never tried it in my bigger, faster, longer fall, Franklin tumbler however. I use the HF one for plating MoS, WS2 and HBN onto bullets.

Got two bags of these today. They look like picture in ad. Some were a little Dirty ,the hollow points had nothing in them. Maybe I just got lucky.

Honestly, these are some of the worst pulldowns that I have ever had. 80% of them have what appears to be tumbling media of some type in the hollow points, packed in tight, requiring the drill bit to remove it . They also have some brown gunk on them that I have to wash off with carburetor cleaner. I'll be trying them out in 450BM and 50cal ML w/sabots. They'll probably end up being used in the ML mainly. I'm partial to the 225-250gr FTX bullets in 450BM but haven't tried the 200gr copper bullets from Midsouth yet. They may be a good alternative. Only problem is limited supply, for now anyway. 275gr is heavier than I like for the 450BM but makes a good option in the ML.

Tested these today. Worked up to 40gr of LilGun with a stab crimp, based on past load data on the site, and got a little over 2200fps from my 16" Bushmaster barrel. They shoot nice and tight little groups as well, with nearly the same POI as my 250gr FTX loads. Temp was 40F. They look bad but shoot great!

You guys really should get these while they are available...http://www.reloadingvalley.com/ProductD ... XPBHP-0100

They shoot great and are half price, just need a little cleaning up. 2200fps is easy with these and Lilgun

Anyone want to split a hundred? I'll tumble them for us.
