Twist Rate

Postby kenn1320 » Thu Dec 29, 2016 8:10 pm

Well seems the AR's started in the 1:24 twist rate, but more options are becoming available. I see the bolt guns running 1:16 twist. Figured Id start a thread with what Im finding is available, so others joining the game will have some options. Ill try to update as I go.

With regard to this thread does anyone here have experience with KM Tactical barrels? And if so what do you think of the much faster twist rate(1:14)?
It's not that I condone fascism or any 'ism' for that matter. Ism's, in my opinion, are not good. A person should not believe in an 'ism,' he should believe in himself. Ferris Bueller

Yea #1 confirmed 10t, my 700 apace barrel a 16t, factory BM upper 24t. All shoot great with 250, 275, and 300gr. Never tried anything lighter.

Not sure how a faster twist would affect pressure in a AR platform.
