Well, plans have changed a bit. Stripped upper I was planning to use was an Anderson sport without port door or forward assist. The way the ejection port was shaped, there was no way I could figure how to judge the amount trimmed. I ordered an Aero XL upper to make things easier. Also ordered a KAW Valley linear comp. Hopefully I’ll have it together by the weekend.

Got it together and shot it for function today. Everything was gtg, and I’m extremely happy. I’d post pics, but can’t figure out how to resize them for this forum. Don’t have any problems elsewhere.

Took it to the range today, and that barrel is a shooter! 250 gr FTX is sub moa. That’s the only ammo I’ve tried until the reloading supplies arrive. My 450 is very easy to shoot groups with even with the extra recoil.
