Satern closeout 16” heavy barrel $125

Was looking around and found Satern is closing out the 16” heavy profile barrels Brownells used to sell for $125. They also have an option for bolts. Regular bolt for $68 or a Maxim for $75. So premium barrel and premium bolt for $200. That’s a great deal!

Those barrels shoot. Have worked with 3 of them from Brownells and all sub moa with factory ammo.

Three years ago ordered 2 barrels.... 6-8 weeks delivery. wanted them threaded 11/16"-24 not standard for them...12 phone calls never answered in 10 months 24 emails never answered....never received or herd for them to this day....

I would use a piece of black pipe for a barrel before contacting Saturn for a barrel....

Did they take your money? Or, not satisfy your special request by no reply?

Honestly, I'm just curious because that's messed up.

I will admit, I never bought a barrel from them. I have one of their barrels that shoots great, (I inherited it), one that I haven't shot yet, and three that I have built and sold straight away. My dad has one that has been shot little but did great, and one that has has not been shot yet ( he has also called them with a discount question and they did honor it). I have bought magazines and Big bore receivers, emailed and called customer service with no issue (as in a satisfactory quick and courteous response).
