Well as I have posted earlier the gun shoots like a dream sub moa at 200 with factory hordany black box ammo going to use my hand loads next but Im running into a feed ing problem from the extended mag the rounds want to nose dive the standard mag no issues any ideas . Thanks

Clip the mag in question are the higher capacity 308 that come with the savage

Couple things I'd try.

First seat bullets out longer. 450B has .200 of freebore so some extra capacity there if you want to turn the burners up a bit.

Second, open the feed lips up a bit to let the round sit higher.

Overtheir I am in the same boat as you. I went Axis. I did fill my deer tag this season with it though. I am interested in how much you have to trim off of the edges and where you had to trim.
I have thought about it. An am thinking more has to be taken off of the front of the lips than the back to get the front of the bullet higher. Kevin

Over on the Savage forum, a member there said he solved his magazine problem with a half inch plastic spacer in the rear of his Axis 308 magazine. He had to cut half inch off the follower and moved the mag spring forward reattaching it with a screw.
