Looking to load heavy cast bullets for a bolt action 450 Bushmaster.
Eventually plan to have a full power hunting load and a subsonic target load.
Rifle is based off a Savage action with a 1:16 18" barrel.
Have been handloading for years but new to the 450 BM and not a lot of experience with straight wall cartridges or cast bullets.
Recommendations on a die set?

Mine too regardless of which kind of bullet you use. The seating die is the cat's meow as it keep the bullet aligned when you are just starting it. Redding dies do that as well but they're more expensive than the Hornady set.

In Theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In Practice, there is.
